Recently, someone posted either here or on the LightWave newsgroup with a
PVR problem. It seems that on his Alpha system, the PVR refused to import
frames as superblack. I now have the same problem.

This evening, one of my two Alpha machines died. Since it happened to be the
one with all my important data, I pulled its system drive and installed it
in the working machine. This also meant I had to re-install the PVR
software, as the broken system never had a PVR in it. Suddenly, the
superblack option no longer works! Yet it always did before. I located the
line in the PVR's .INI file that controls this, and it reads "Setup=0" when
the Superblack option is turned on. But it has no effect. The odd thing is,
frames I imported before the system swap still come up with zero black. This
then would appear to be an import problem, but I don't know how to fix it.
Any ideas?

BTW, I'm using v2.51.
